ReBorn M27 partner meeting (9-11 December, 2015) at partner UPM in Madrid, Spain – A raving success!
All partners came together in beautiful Madrid at partner UPM in order to discuss the actual status of the project, its results and to set the joint course for the final phase. ReBorns Technical Advisor, Mr. Vincenzo Nicolo, was excited about the projects progress and the latest developments.
ReBorn M18 partner and review meeting (30 March-1 April, 2015) in Brussels, Belgium – Halftime successfully completed!
A very positive feedback was the reward for 18 months of intense work on the re-use concept in manufacturing. The ReBorn consortium came together in Brussels in the European Commission premises for its midterm review meeting, in which the project progress has been assessed by the European Commission.
In a balanced mix of conceptual background presentations and physical demonstration of several already available prototypes, our partners succeeded in delivering a comprehensive overview of the first periods work. Now the focus will be set on further technological implementation and integration as well as on exploitation and business case strategies. Many thanks again to our PO (project officer) and our PTA (project technical advisor) and to all ReBorn partners!
Demo kickoff meeting (17-18 December, 2014) in Karlsruhe, Germany
The demo kickoff for the workpackages 5, 6 and 7 took place in Karlsruhe, Germany in the new premises of our coordinator HWH. It was a very successful meeting and a positive and confident spirit accompanies the whole consortium during their upcoming tasks and challenges! This time the meeting was completely dedicated to possible demonstration scenarios and prototype planning. Everybody feels confident about projects progress, actual status achieved and looking forward to the partner review meeting in month 18 in order to present first tangible results in form of a demonstrator! 9 month Meeting (11-13 June, 2014) in Budapest, Hungary
The 9 month meeting took place in Budapest, Hungary hosted by our partner GAMAX. On day 2 the consortium was happy to welcome also the PTA, Mr. Vincenzo Nicolò who attended the meeting in order to observe project developments and first results achieved so far. His general feedback was very positive and also internally the resonance was highly positive about the collaboration spirit and the progress achieved so far. The consortium is looking forward to the upcoming tasks and of course to the next project meeting which is planned for October 2014!
WP3 and WP4 kick-off meeting (12-13 May, 2014) in Loughborough, UK
The kick-off meeting for WP3 and WP4 took place in Loughborough, UK at the University. Both workpackages were kick-started with a workshop of the involved partners.
WP1 consolidation and WP2 kick-off meeting (27 January, 2014) in Karlsruhe, Germany
The workshop held on January 27th at the Technical University of Karlsruhe (HSKA) was split into parts, one of which covered the consolidation of the findings of the industrial requirement gathering in WP1. The other part initiated the activities of WP2, in which models for enhancing the capabilities of existing equipment will be developed.
Kick-off meeting (5-6 September, 2013) in Brussels, Belgium
The project started with the kick-off meeting in Brussels, Belgium. The entire consortium consisting of 17 partners from all over Europe participated in the event, which aimed at setting the base for the 3-year collaboration within ReBorn. The personal get-to-know of all partners was complemented by the presentation of the overall workplan and agreement on internal procedure to ensure smooth and continuous information flow. The consortium was delighted to also welcome the project officer, Mr Sebastien Mortier, in this event.
